11:55 am

At 10:35 the coating of the 5205 clear primer was completed.  By 11:15 the 5205 primer was hard enough to start preparing for the next layer of coating--a colored coating.  This layer was 5210 light tan hybrid polyurea.  The 5210 tan coating was also a very quick drying product.

This step was a little more difficult.  Along with the quick laying of the hybrid polyurea, resin chips had to be cast into the fresh coating before it hardened.  If the coating hardened too fast the resin chips would not bond properly to the floor.  By 11:55 the floor was coated, chipped and looking good.  Now we were waiting for the 5210 to dry enough so that the cabinet makers could start installing.
