Objects
can be
used to produce unique patterns in an acid stained floor

This design was cut
in the floor with a saw and just before applying a black acid diluted to
a dark brown-black rich color: whisk broom strips, peat moss and ironite
pellets were placed on the floor to give an extraordinary appearance to
the finished floor. A cherry dye was added in one section for
added color. Objects like Miracle-Gro, plastic straws, Ironite pellets, whisk broom strips, chains, course steel wool, peat moss, ice, etc., etc. can be used to produce a total different look. Object-patterns look fantastic as a border around a beautifully stained floor. Bottom line is-- Let you imagination go wild!
